In my last post, I talked about the reworking of my YouTube Channel, with an eye toward making it more functional for a series of videos I'm making for my Honors Chemistry classes. To go along with that, I've been redesigning my course website, too.
Until recently, I had kept the majority of student-facing sequenced material on two wikispace wikis (one for AP Biology, and one for Chemistry), which was working fine. The move to my own videos was going to require a good bit of rennovation of the chemistry wiki, as new things were linked in and old things were removed. Rather than do that, I figured now was as good a time as any to move all of the student-facing course materials over to my main teaching website. The main advantage here (outside of a bit more modern, and unified design) is that students only have to go to one place to get access to everything they need for my courses.
I've carved out two top-level pages for my two current courses, and at this point I've moved most of the material from the wikis over. As I continue to make chemistry videos, I'll keep linking out unit pages, and someday it will all be finished!
Feel free to stop by and take a look. If you do, please let me know what you think (feedback is ALWAYS welcome!)
