It seems like the prizes for this "Create a Lifeform" competition are not commensurate with the accomplishment.  $1000 or a trip to Hong Kong?!?  And this in a time when Netflix is offering a cool million to the "genius" who writes a better recommendation algorithm. Blargh.  But you do get a nifty comic of your single-celled Frankenstein.
