I can't believe that there are people in this country who would threaten bodily harm against a college kid for taking a eucharist cracker from a mass. But there are. Here's the local priest to put it all into perspective for us:
"It is hurtful," said Father Migeul Gonzalez with the Diocese. "Imagine if they kidnapped somebody and you make a plea for that individual to please return that loved one to the family."
I had no idea that saving a cracker for later equates to kidnapping. But then again, strange things happen when you start believing that crackers are literally the body of your savior.
So shame on Webster Cook. If for nothing else, than for not using the internet to its maximum value.
