Technological Literacy (and Honesty) at the Highest Level

Kottke.org has a fantastic little bit about the country's new robots.txt file.  You know, the thing that determines which pages on whitehouse.gov are indexed by the google (and all of the other darling little search engines).  The former administration had decided to disallow 2400 pages from indexing.  Now it's 2. These are the little things that make a huge difference.

Plus, Wired has a whole feature related to yesterday's post about the new administration's tech-scape.

Ding Dong, shitty tech practices are (hopefully) dead.
