Here’s a rather disturbing video of a SWAT team raid on a family in Missouri to serve a warrant for narcotics possession. The team raids the house, shoots the family dog (a corgi, perhaps), finds a tiny amount of marijuana and arrests the parents for “child endangerment”.
There are 100-150 of these kinds of raids in our country every day. Mexico is drowning in a cartel war. Afghan heroin is as largely produced as it ever has been. And apparently our drug war dollars are best spent terrorizing middle class families for the crime of smoking pot.
