Here's an article about a bi-centennial plague of rats that is currently devouring its way through various East Asian countries. They march through a village and eat everything they can find, then they move on. As if that wasn't bad enough, one of the nations hardest hit is Burma (aka "Myanmar") who, as I'm sure my readers know, has a government of lovely and compassionate folks who are only too eager to help their people.
So, be glad you aren't living through the rat plague. Or living in Burma. Or living through a rat plague in Burma.
