I’m glad to roll out a new series to the Pod today, the first in a series documenting websites that are blocked by the web filter employed by my school district, for no apparent or rational reason. Here are the first three:
- Google Earth (you’re guess is as good as mine on this one).
- Ecofoot.org (in truth, I filled out the requisite unblock form to get this one opened).
- Youtube (inexplicably, Vimeo is not blocked—the rationale from my IT department is that many youtube videos have “inappropriate” comments and advertisements).
