#ProjectAlbatross: Now there's a website!
This post is an update on the work that I'm a part of developing a distance learning Biology teaching resource for students who are impacted by COVID-19-related-school-closures (aka "Project Albatross"). Since the last post, the project has built out a website, and is now working with volunteer teachers to develop schedules of lessons, curated collections of resources, and a help forum for students to use to seek text-based help. It's all available here: http://bit.ly/projectalbatross.
The current plan is to keep working on getting teachers involved during this coming week and then hopefully start offering lessons starting on Monday, April 5th
If you are a teacher who is interested in lending a hand, here's a page where you can express your interest. Also, you can certainly lend a hand by spreading the word and sharing to your various professional networks.
